The mission of the Iraqi Society of Haematology is to advance knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hematological diseases and to promote excellence in the practice of hematology and transfusion medicine in Iraq. 
  To accomplish this mission, the Society aims to: 
     1. Advance knowledge and clinical practice in hematology and transfusion medicine. 
     2. Promote research, professional training, and scientific interest in hematology across the country. 
     3. Organize and support educational activities and scientific events related to the recognition, treatment, and prevention of hematological disorders. 
     4. Contribute actively to medical education at all levels. 
     5. Collaborate with local and international medical and hematological societies, as well as professional organizations, in both basic and clinical research. 
     6. Improve diagnostic technologies and clinical practice across different healthcare settings. 
     7. Strengthen communication between academic research institutions and public health sectors. 
     8. Support the development of hematology education and practice throughout Iraq. 
     9. Promote the standardization of hematological diagnostic methods and clinical guidelines.
